Lake views abound in 5 rooms: from a veranda style Living Room, to the Great Room with a high rustic beamed ceiling and dinning area, to the fully equipped Kitchen and the two screened in Porches. Framed by many mature trees enjoy the lakeside garden’s chaise lounges, hammock, picnic table, kayaks, canoe, or rowboat. BBQ with real charcoal. Fish from our private dock. Kayak across the 54 acre lake and enjoy a “Spa” day at The Omega Institute for the tennis courts, beach, meditation sanctuary, cafe’, dining hall, hiking trails, or a fabulous massage at the Wellness Center.
Less than 2 hours from Manhattan, our location is conveniently located just 15 minutes to Rhinebeck, famous for its restaurants and quaint shops. The train station is just another 5 minutes from there. However we recommend that you drive or rent a car because there are so many events and activities to enjoy near by. Where to begin? AMENITIES:
Fully equipped and up dated kitchen with dishwasher, garbage disposal and compactor, microwave, toaster oven, gas stove, washer and dryer. Cable TV with 6 speaker surround sound system including the HBO’s. Wireless high speed internet. Unlimited calling nation wide on wireless phones with voice mail. Two smallish bed rooms with brand new queen beds in each, plus a new sofa sectional that transforms into a very comfortable double bed with firm solid foam. The bath is traditional with a tub/shower. Fresh linens and towels are also provided.
RATES:
Weekly rates: $1350
Minimum stay of one week is required from Friday ending on a following Friday
Monthly rates: $4000 [DOES NOT APPLY IN JULY OR AUGUST]
Minimum stay is four weeks with a start day Friday, ending on a Friday
Saturday start dates apply when the previous booking ends on a Saturday.
Daily rates: $275 (Fri., Sat. & Sun. nights), $200 (other nights) all with a two night minimum (3 nights on holidays)*
*Less than a one week stay are not available in high season, however we may make an exception one week prior to a requested arrival date. At your request we will wait list on our calendar.
High Season: Memorial Day Weekend through the end of October and all holidays
Rates subject to change and all applicable taxes are additional. There is a one time $100 cleaning fee in addition to any other rates. And a $400 security deposit (additional w/ pets).
Low Season rates: Available on request
Check-in is at 3pm and check-out is at 11am
To reserve there is a 50% deposit require. The balance is due 30 days prior to the arrival date.
Cancellation Policy for weekly stays:
Up to 30 days prior to arrival – 100% refund** (see exception #3.)
This policy has been developed in order to be fair to all. 30-days advance notice of cancellation or changes is required in order to avoid penalties in the full amount of your stay. Because this is just one house whose income depends on the guarantee of our bookings there are exceptions to this policy, including weather related issues or unexpected health problems. To protect you from unforeseen events, we suggest purchasing travel insurance. A refund is given for each day that we are able to re-book**
Cancellations or changes that result in a shortened stay, that are made prior to the 30 days of arrival date will incur no penalty. ** In all cancellation cases a $100 handling fee plus the credit card fees, if any, will be deducted from any refund.
